A solid level Jira Admin that is a quick learner and is able to take direction, learn where needed quickly and simply get stuff done. They have a huge backlog of tech debt. This role will be ideal for an experienced Senior Jira Administrator that can help guide and share best practice with a various levels of Jira users. The objective is to standardise and bring every team member up to a self sustaining level to become more effective and efficient.
Suitable Contractor Skills/ expertise:
Jira Cloud (Jira Software and Jira Service Management) administration at enterprise scale
Ability to have discussions with end users of various skill levels (knowledgeable to “what’s Jira?”) to determine needs/requirements
Understanding of collapsing fields
Personable
Bias towards action
Desire for standardization
Ability to assess functional needs and identify solutions turning that into successful implementation
Desire to document and make things better for end users
Good written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility
Patience with a young, developing team and inexperienc
